Enterprise Self-Service Maintenance and Remote Support Platform

This engagement began as a focused Laravel upgrade and performance optimization project for a startup founder in Germany. After successfully improving the existing platform, we became the long-term product development partner for a suite of enterprise self-service maintenance and remote support products. Over six years, we built scalable tools that help enterprise customers manage maintenance routines, resolve technical issues remotely, and reduce dependency on traditional support calls. The platform includes a custom back-office system, real-time support workflows, a drag-and-drop flow builder, and white-label multi-tenant capabilities.

Enterprise Self-Service Maintenance and Remote Support Platform

Project Delivered

The Problem

Enterprise support teams often depend on manual coordination, expensive site visits, and fragmented systems to manage maintenance requests and resolve technical problems. End users can face delays when they cannot troubleshoot issues independently, while support teams lack the right tools to guide them remotely. The client needed a secure, flexible product ecosystem that could work within strict enterprise firmware environments and support multiple branded customer deployments.

1

End users relied heavily on support teams and on-site visits for issues that could be resolved through guided self-service.

2

Support teams needed one place to manage tickets, maintenance requests, customer activity, and issue resolution.

3

Enterprise customers require real-time remote assistance that could work within restrictive firmware environments.

4

Support agents needed visual tools to explain technical issues and guide users through problem resolution.

5

The platform needed flexible workflows that customers could configure without depending on development teams.

6

The product needed a white-label, multi-tenant architecture for enterprise customers and branded deployments.

Our Approach

We first improved the existing Laravel application to create a stable, maintainable base for long-term product development. As the relationship expanded, we worked closely with the client to build multiple connected products for enterprise self-service maintenance and support operations. We combined back-office workflows, real-time communication, configurable automation, and multi-tenant capabilities into a scalable SaaS ecosystem.

We upgraded and optimized the existing Laravel platform to improve stability, performance, and maintainability.

We developed a custom Ruby on Rails back-office system for customer support and operational teams.

We built support workflows for tracking tickets, maintenance requests, customer interactions, and resolution status.

We created real-time call and video support capabilities designed to operate within enterprise firmware constraints.

We implemented on-screen annotation tools that allow support teams to guide users visually during issue resolution.

We developed a drag-and-drop flow builder using Node.js and React.js for configurable maintenance and support workflows.
